Benefit Concert for the Lighthouse

On November 13, 2009, a concert to raise funds for the lighthouse was held at McMorran Auditorium. The evening began with a happy hour and was followed by musical guests Lee Murdock, Cliff Erickson, and the VooDoo Doctors.

Thank you to all the lighthouse supporters who purchased ads in the concert program and to those who joined us for an enjoyable event.

Friends of the Fort Gratiot Light Gala

On April 25, 2009, a benefit gala was held at the Port Huron Museum to raise money for the restoration of the Fort Gratiot Light. The charter members of the new Friends of the Fort Gratiot Light organization came together to enjoy period cocktails, wonderful food, live music, and a special art exhibition and vintage cocktail shaker display. Whether imitating a 1920s flapper, dapper in a zoot suit, or elegantly dressed in evening attire, all who attended came to support the restoration of the Fort Gratiot Light.
